At TPS the early years foundation stage comprises of a part time nursery class for 3 to 4 year olds as well as a Reception class for 4 to 5 year olds. In the Nursery, part time 3 to 4 year olds are eligible for the 15 hours free early years funding.

TPS uses the ‘Statutory Early Years framework’ (2014) and Development matters’ (2012) to meet the legal, learning and development requirements outlined for the early years foundation stage, coupled with the tarbiyyah curriculum, which comprises of Islamic studies, as well as Arabic and Qur’aan.
